The sun is shining away
It blinds me in warm light
Reminds me it’s alright
Been feeling cold and gray

Rising from the flames
Higher and higher
Seeing for the first time
There’s a brighter day
There’s a brighter day

Shine on me
Shine the light on where I’m going
Shine on me
Shine, let it shine
Shine on me
Tell me where the wind is blowing
Shine on me
Shine
Let it shine
On me
On me

Riding the waves
I see a butterfly
Through that summer haze
Taking in the rays
Taking in the rays

Shine on me
Shine the light on where I’m going
Shine on me
Shine, let it shine
Shine on me
Tell me where the wind is blowing
Shine on me
Shine
Let it shine
On me
On me

Shine on me
Shine the light on where I’m going
Shine on me
Shine, let it shine
Shine on me
Tell me where the wind is blowing
Shine on me
Shine, let it shine
Shine on me
Shine the light on where I’m going
Shine on me
Shine
Let it shine
On me
On me

Wake up. Wake up. Wake Up. Wake Up.
Wake up. Wake up. Wake Up. Wake Up.

2. Stay

I’ve been searchin’ round
Around the world
And I’ve been holding out
For someone like you
One who could fly with me farther

Won’t you stay, stay
Stay with me awhile
Stay, stay
Stay with me tonight

And I’ve been dreamin’ about you
All my life
But lately, I just can’t sleep
While you’re running through my mind
Maybe we could go deeper?

Just stay, stay
Stay with me a while
Stay, stay
Stay with me tonight

My body knows, it feels so right
Stay with me till the end of time
You’re beautiful
You’re everything to me

Stay, stay
Stay with me a while
Stay, stay
Stay with me tonight

Won’t you stay, stay?
Stay with me a while
Stay, stay
Stay with me tonight

Stay with me tonight
Stay with me tonight
Stay with me tonight
Stay with me tonight

3. Reinvent Yourself
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering, 2001.

When you’re all alone and cryin’ in a doorway
And you haven’t got a second chance to lose
When you’ve tried it all and hit the wall and dyin’
And you’re on your own with nothing left to choose

Reinvent yourself. It’s time
Reinvent yourself and fly

With your head up high
And the answers to guide you
Reinvent yourself
You’ll be turning it all around

When you’re underground, beaten down and bleeding
And the claws of cold have cast your dreams aside
You can break the chains that cut your veins. It’s easy
Just free yourself with a whole new, state of mind

Reinvent yourself. It’s time
Reinvent yourself and fly

With your head up high
And the answers to guide you
Reinvent yourself
You’ll be turning it all around

When it’s inside-outside-inside consultation
Your dream master will show you what to do
He’s your mirror and truth-teller, he’s gonna tell you:
“Phoenix fly with a whole new point of view”

And reinvent yourself. It’s time
Reinvent yourself and fly

With your head up high
And the past behind you
Reinvent yourself
You’ll be turning it all around
Around

4. Imminent
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Ron Cohen, 2011. All rights reserved

Wake up dreamin’ that you are free
Banging your head so delicately
It’s so clear you live in fear
Blinded by the need
For security

You’ve been draggin’ that ball and chain
With your head in the ground
Been slowin’ you down
You’ve carried the weight for so long
Forgotten you’re strong
And how bright you can shine like the sun, yea

When I wanna give in
I gotta get out
When I wanna give up
I start singing out loud

Change is coming round
You just can’t live without it
Change is comin’ round
It’s imminent

Now you’re movin’, but ’round and ’round
Like a rat on a wheel in a plastic house
You say you’re stuck in a crazy maze
Runnin’ in place
Thinking you’re the only one
Gone insane, yea

When you wanna give in
You gotta get out
When you wanna give up
Start singing out loud

Change is coming round
Ain’t no doubt about it
Change is comin’ round
It’s imminent

It’s waiting for you
and waiting for me

Change is coming round
You just can’t live without it
Change hear the sound

Change is coming round
Ain’t no doubt about it
Change is coming round
It’s imminent

Change
It’s waiting for you
And waiting for me
It’s waiting for me, yea

Change
You just can’t live without it
It’s waiting for you
And waiting for me

5. Castaway
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Ron Cohen, 2009. All rights reserved

Let’s sail away
Just you and me
Across the ocean
There’s no time
Like today

Don’t think twice
Let’s leave this shore
Open your heart
Start living more

Won’t you be my castaway?
Let your fears, disappear
Don’t fade away
You’re all I need
The only one
Follow me
Into the sun

On a red-eye plane
Feeling free
Now we’re flyin’
To that place
We always dreamed

It’s alright
To step on board
With faith in our hearts
And fate at our door

Won’t you be my castaway?
Let your fears, disappear
Don’t fade away
I’m on my knees
The time has come
Follow me
Into the sun

Breathe in
Let it out
Release
All doubt

Breathe in
Let it out
Believe
All-out

Won’t you be my castaway?
Let your fears, disappear.
Don’t fade away
You’re all I need
The only one!
Follow me
Into the sun

Breathe in
Let it out
Breathe in
Just let it out

6. Have A Little Faith Today
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Ron Cohen, 2010. All rights reserved

We all slip
We all stumble
And sometimes we fall
Lose direction
This intersection’s
Got no lights at all

So we skip like a stone
Down the road, all alone

Have a little faith
Have a little faith today
Have a little faith today
Come on now
Have a little faith
It’s gonna be ok
Have a little faith today

You’re on your way
You’re on your way

We all crash
We all crumble
And sometimes we stall
Let’s change direction
Celebrate your imperfection
And turn up the sound in your soul

Like the wind let it flow
Through your eyes, let it go

Have a little faith
Have a little faith today
Have a little faith today
Come on now
Have a little faith
You’re gonna be ok
Have a little faith today

You’re on your way
You’re on your way

It’s a long, long road to the top of the stairs
With a little faith, you’re already there, yea

So, have a little faith
It’s gonna be ok
Have a little faith today
Have a little faith
Have a little faith today
Have a little faith today
Everybody
Have a little faith
We’re gonna be ok
Have a little faith today

You’re on your way
You’re on your way
You’re on your way

7. Flying Over Rainbows
©Words and music by Chris Chickering, Ron Cohen and Greg Barnhill, 2008. All rights reserved

Sometimes it’s so hard
To keep it together
One day you’re flying high
Then you’re cryin’ in the desert

I was staring at the end of the line
Was sure I’d fall
And lose my mind

Now I’m spreading my wings and flying over rainbows
I’m spreading my wings and flying over rainbows

Sometimes it feels like
The highway’s forever
And the sun never let’s up
And you’re lifeless as leather

Just when I felt my spirit had died
I looked down on a painted sky

Now I’m spreading my wings and flying over rainbows
I’m spreading my wings and flying over rainbows

I’m spreading my wings and flying over rainbows
I’m spreading my wings and flying over rainbows
I’m spreading my wings and flying over rainbows

8. My Heart’s Back in Georgia
©Words and music by Chris Chickering and Ron Cohen, 2012. All rights reserved

Driving north on the 1 state line
Wind in my hair
The moon’s shining bright
It’s a foggy ocean evening
Got mist in my eyes
My heart’s back in Georgia
With you on my mind

I love you
Yes I do
I love you
And will always be true

I parked on the shoulder to settle for the night
When I heard the music playing
Saw fire burning bright
A man said: “Come on over
No need to be alone”
So I grabbed my guitar
Started singing this old song

I love you
Yes I do
I love you
and will always be true

I love you
Yes, only you
I love you. I love you
And will always be true

And as the flames keep rising
From this fire on the coast
Stars in the sky
Missin’ you the most
People talking ‘round me
About what I can’t recall
Cause my heart’s back in Georgia
With you that’s all

I love you
Yes I do
I love you
And will always be true

I love you
Yes, only you
I love you, I love you
And will always be true

And every night I’m drivin’
I’m cryin’ out inside
Cause my heart’s back in Georgia
With you all the time
Yes my heart’s back in Georgia
With you all the time

9. What’s Holding You?
©Words & Music by Chris Chickering, Ron Cohen & Greg Barnhill, 2009. All rights reserved

Free your mind
Let it go and
Let it cruise
To the other side
Where the dawn of another day is new

Bring your crazy
Because you and I are headed to
Where the angels fly
And trouble won’t find me and you

Sometimes it takes a while to get it right
Sometimes that golden road shines too bright

So take a chance, break on through
Live beyond what’s holding you
The past is all we have to lose
Break on through what’s holding you

Can we look outside
of our paper rules?
And question why
Cause there’s more than one way and one truth

It’ll be alright
Anyway you wanna move
And the sun will rise
On any given path you choose

Sometimes our deepest fears
Are the hardest ones to fight
Breakin’ down and lookin’ in
Might save your life

So take a chance, break on through
Live beyond what’s holding you
The past is all we have to lose
Break on through what’s holding you

So take a chance, break on through
Live beyond what’s holding you
The past is all we have to lose
Break on through what’s holding you

Gotta take that chance
And break on through
Take that chance
Nothing and no one’s holding you

10. Father and Son
©Words and Music by Cat Stevens

It’s not time to make a change
Just relax, take it easy
You’re still young, that’s your fault
There’s so much you have to know
Find a girl, settle down
If you want you can marry
Look at me, I am old but I’m happy

I was once like you are now
And I know that it’s not easy
To be calm when you’ve found something going on
So take your time, think a lot
Think of everything you’ve got
For you will still be here tomorrow
But your dreams may not

How can I try to explain?
When I do he turns away again
It’s always been the same, same old story
From the moment I could talk I was ordered to listen
Now there’s a way and I know that I have to go away
I know I have to go

It’s not time to make a change
Just sit down, take it slowly
You’re still young, that’s your fault
There’s so much you have to go through
Find a girl, settle down
If you want you can marry
Look at me, I am old but I’m happy

All the times that I cried
keepin’ all the things I knew inside
It’s hard, but it’s harder to ignore it
If they were right, I’d agree
But it’s them they know not me
Now there’s a way and I know that I have to go away
I know I have to go

1. Time of Truth
©Words and music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

We’re on the edge of somethin’
Don’t know what it is
Been a long time comin’
And I’m hopin’ this

Is gonna be a new chapter
In a golden age
And we’re all gonna get to
Turn the pages

I, I, I, I am here
And so are you
Let’s get together
And see what we can move

I, I, I, I am here
And so are you
Let’s come together and
Walk into this time of truth

In the air around us
I can feel the change
People looking inside
In a different way

It’s a time of progress
In a time of hope
Wanna live it out loud and
Sing from my soul

I, I, I, I am here
And so are you
Let’s get together
And see what we can move

I, I, I, I am here
And so are you
Let’s come together and
Walk into this time of truth

I, I, I, I am here
And so are you
Let’s get together
And see what we can move

I, I, I, I am here
And so are you
Let’s come together and
Walk into this time of

I, I, I, I am here
And so are you
Let’s get together
And see what we can move

I, I, I, I am here
And so are you
Let’s come together and
Walk into this time of truth

Let’s come together
Let’s come together now
Let’s come together and
Walk into this time of truth

2. This or Something Better
©Words and music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

The other day I was talkin’ with a good friend of mine
Oh, and things weren’t going so well in my life at the time
He said let me tell you a little something that might help you along your way, yea…
He said take a pencil and paper and write down exactly what you want
And put it on your refrigerator when you get home
Well I thought it sounded foolish
But I did it anyway

And then thirty days later when the bills came due
I said hey man you know there ain’t nothin’ comin’ through
And when I told him what I wrote
He just smiled and shook his head
And then he laughed out loud at the words that I read
I said

Give me everything I want
Give me everything I need
Give me everything in this life
That’s comin’ to me

He said you forgot to add one thing
Write this down in big red letters:
“Give me this or something better”

I was working in Minneapolis sellin’ someone else’s dreams
But I always knew there was somethin’ so much bigger meant for me
Had a house in Santa Fe and I was fine
Till the renters all moved out
And it started goin’ south
So I left Minnesota on a cold January night
Bettin’ on myself that I was doing somethin’ right
And when I got back to New Mexico I must admit I had my doubts, Mmmm

But I’ll be damned if everything he told me wasn’t comin’ true
That if you write it down, your dreams will find a way to get to you
And now here I am, I’m makin’ it and things are going right
I guess it goes to show you all you gotta do is write

Give me everything I want
Give me everything I need
Give me everything in this life
That’s comin’ to me
Cause it’ll all come true
If you write down in big red letters:
“Give me this or something better”

Give me everything I want (breakdown)
Give me everything I need
Give me everything in this life
That’s comin’ to me
Cause it’ll all come true
If you write it down in big red letters:
“Give me this or something better”

Oh, give me everything I want
Give me everything I need
Give me everything in this life
That’s comin’ to me
Cause it’ll all come true
If you write it down in big red letters:
“Give me this or something better”
“Give me this or something better”
Yea

3. The Revolution
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

I know you feel it
I feel it too, ooh…
Time is revealing
The dawn of somethin’ new
Something new

We’re all in motion
No turning back, ack…
We’re on our way now
To a better place in time
A universal mind
We’re opening the truth
And all we gotta do…

We gotta raise our vibration
To a higher frequency
So that we can be in harmony with all

We gotta rise up, gotta wake up
The consciousness within
Cause it’s time for the revolution to begin
The revolution

Look all around you
Hope everywhere, ere…
People are changin’
From what they used to be
To a new reality
That’s coming into light
Everybody don’t you realize?

We gotta raise our vibration
To a higher frequency
So that we can be in harmony with all
We gotta rise up, gotta wake up
The consciousness within
Cause it’s time for the revolution, once again
Yea…the revolution

All of the wars and the battles will end
We will be free as the children again
All it would take is to reach down and
Find all the love that’s within

We gotta raise our vibration
To a higher frequency
So that we can be in harmony with all

We gotta rise up, gotta wake up
The consciousness within
Cause it’s time for the revolution
Yeaaa
The new world revolution
It’s time for the revolution, once again
The Revolution
It’s time for the revolution
The Revolution

4. Getting Past The Past
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

I was at my own prosecution
Ready to pay for
The fact I wasn’t more
Than what I’d been
For non-existent sins
I locked myself in

For never giving myself the permission
To be more than I could
It was simply understood
That I was less
Than all the rest
Oh, but I was wrong

Cause when you see the truth
That’s when you find your place
You see we’re all the same
In different ways…

It took a long time to
Get to where I am today
I guess the hardest job, anyone could ever have
Is gettin’ past the past

The voices in my head
Were overwhelming
Sayin’ what a fool
To think your dreams belong to you
The jury said
From in my head
And so off I was led

But in my cell
There came a revelation
We’re much too big for small
And to think that way at all
Is simply wrong
And you’re the only one
Who can take yourself back home

Cause when you see the truth
That’s when you find your place
You see we’re all the same
In different ways

It took a long time to
Get to where I am today
I guess the hardest job, anyone could ever have
Is gettin’ past the past

Well I have done my time now
And it’s over
These iron bars of shame
Could not reduce or take away
Who I am now
And the power that I hold
And the strength enough to let it show

Cause when you see the truth
That’s when you find your place
You see, we’re all the same
In so many ways…

It took a long time to
Get to where I am today
I guess the hardest job, anyone could ever have
Is gettin’ past the past

Woah…
Woah…

So you gave it up on it
Said it wasn’t worth it anymore
Said you got tired of banging on the door

The world’s just a joke outside
You said as you watched it pass you by
And so you let it make you cold inside

But don’t go believin’
All of the voices
Livin’ in your head
Sayin’ hope is dead

When there’s nobody there
When you’re all alone
And it’s just you and you
Tryin’ to make it through

When there’s nobody left
Except the TV set
Open up the shades
And gaze into the light of day
Gaze into the light of day

Tired of the promising
Tired of still waiting in the wings
Tired of the nothin’
Being everything

You say to hell with it
I don’t really need this anymore
But that’s just the crazy in you ramblin’

It feels like forever
But it’s only a moment
That’s gonna pass you by
Don’t go sleepin’ with a lie

When there’s nobody there
When you’re all alone
And it’s just you and you
Tryin’ to make it through

When there’s nobody left
Except the TV set
Open up the shades
And gaze into the light of day
Gaze into the light of day

When there’s nobody there
When you’re all alone
And it’s just you and you
Tryin’ to make it through

When there’s nobody left
Except the TV set
Open up the shades
Open up the shades

When there’s nobody there
When you’re all alone
And it’s just you and you
Trying to make it through

When there’s nobody left
Except the TV set
Open up the shades
And gaze into the light of day

6. Living in the Now
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

Sometimes the self can leave you inwardly blind
We’ve all been victims, time to time
Don’t let your fear delay you
Don’t let your ego play you by
Living the future in your mind

Sometimes the guilt can grab you
From out of the night
Creep in and keep you paralyzed
But if you can take control of
All that you know you’re made of well
Everything’s gonna be alright

Let’s make no illusion
There can be no substitution
For being in the moment that you’re in
And when you finally wake up
And you wash away the make up
This is where your true life will begin
I found out

Nothin’ feels like
Living in the now

This is the universal
Truth that we hold
And it goes unused
Until we know
But when we find the power
This is our finest hour and
That’s when our future will unfold

So, let’s make no illusion
There can be no substitution
For being in the moment that you’re in
And when you finally wake up
And you wash away the make up
This is when your destiny begins
And you find out
Nothin’ feels like
Living in the now

It’s not too late to turn it all around
Whatever’s lost can always still be found

Let’s make no illusion
There can be no substitution
For being in the moment that you’re in

And when we finally wake up
And we wash away the make up
This is when our destiny begins
And we find out
Nothin’ feels like
Living in the now
Living in the now

Oh, you got the present
You got the present now
You got the present now

7. Our Story
©Words and music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

There are stories
We hope will never end
That draw us back again, and again
Like our story
Started out to be
A perfect tragedy
The girl who needed nothing
And the man upon his steed

She was so beautiful
The night her eyes met mine
I must admit that I was blind reason

What is this pedestal
We put love upon?
That sings us like a song
We think it takes us somewhere
Few have ever gone

And hope keeps holdin’ on
Hope never will give in
And just about the time you think you’re over it
It has a way of reelin’ you back in

There are stories
Crazy shiny of things
Sometimes they are better left for dreams

And in our glory
We lived a thousand lives
And love was free of all condition
But in the morning
Always comes the light of day
Exposes the charade
No matter how we fight it
The truth won’t go away

And hope keeps holdin’ on
And hope never will give in
And just about the time you think you’ve had enough
It doubles back reels you right back in

There are stories
Way beyond our means
Stories that are better left for dreams

Hope keeps holdin’ on
And hope never will give in
Oh and just about the time you think you’re over it
It has a way of reelin’ you back in

There are stories
Crazy shiny things
Stories that are better left for dreams
Stories that are better left for dreams
Maybe we were better left for dreams

8. Lovesick Fool
©Words and music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

Never felt the warm sunshine
Till I felt your hand in mine
And oh I, never ever saw the sweet love-light
Till you brought it in one night

And amazed me
Cause you saved me
From the dark and lonely road
Stop at nothin’
For your lovin’
You don’t know how far I’d go

For you little darlin
Oh what I’d do
For you little darlin’
I’m a love-sick fool

In the palm of your hand
I’d do anything I can
For you, little darlin…
Yea, yea, yea, yea, yea

Never known a thing like this
You took me down with just one kiss
And oh I, never felt a love so fine
Then you told me it’s all mine

And it amazed me
Cause you gave me
Something real worth living for
Make ya happy
If you asked me
I’d be everything and more

For you little darlin’
Oh what I’d do
For you little darlin’
I’m a love-sick fool

In the palm of your hand
I’d do anything I can
For you little darlin’
Yea, yea, yea, yea, yea
For you little darlin

Oh I’ve played the game
And I’ve been played
I been round a time or two
But I never thought
I’d be caught
Breaking my own rules
Honey if you only knew…

For you little darlin
Oh what I’d do
For you little darlin’
I’m a love-sick fool
In the palm of your hand
I’d give you all I am

For you little darlin’
Oh what I’d do
For you little darlin’
I’m a love-struck fool
In the palm of your hand
I’d do anything I can

For you yea, yea, yea, yea
Little darlin’
For you yea, yea, yea, yea
Alright

9. I Believe in You
©Words & Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

I believe in you
And all the things you do
And even if you fall sometimes
It won’t change my mind

I believe again
Comes around again
And I know we just can’t lose
If I believe in you, oooh…

We tear ourselves down
And twist it around
Leavin’ ourselves to fit the blame

We damage our pride
And the soul down inside
Lives in a lonely place

But I’m findin’ out these days
It’s me that’s gotta change
And so I’m gonna change right now
I’m gonna say it out loud

I believe in you
And all the things you do
And even if you fall sometimes
It won’t change my mind

I believe again
Comes around again
And I know, we just can’t lose
If I believe in you, oooh…
The ego will say
Hey, push it all away
Failure is all you’re gonna find

But the ones who can change
Rise from the shame
They are the ones who cross the line

So goodbye to then
I’m gonna be my own best friend
Don’t you think it’s time?
Oh, don’t you think it’s time?

I believe in you
And all the things you do
And even if you fall sometimes
It won’t change my mind

I believe again
Comes around again
And I know, we just can’t lose
If I believe in you

Goodbye to then
I’m gonna be my own best friend
Don’t you think it’s time?
Oh you know I think it’s time

I believe in you
And all the things you do
And even if you fall sometimes
It won’t change my mind

I believe again
Comes around again
And I know we just can’t lose

I believe in you
And all the things you do
And even if you fall sometimes
It won’t change my mind

I believe again
Comes around again
And I know we just can’t lose
If I believe in you

I believe in you
I believe in you

10. Pain-body
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

It’s just the poison coming out
Everybody’s got it
And there ain’t no doubt
It’s gonna bear it’s teeth every once in a while
And when it does you just breathe deep and smile

Just like a child that needs to be fed
It’s the same demon that fills our heads
So when it comes around, don’t feel so bad
It’s just the wounds that we all have

It’s your pain body
I know you’re talking with your pain body
And every now and then it’s somebody else that slips into our shoes
Ah, don’t let ’em go and get to you

It only sees things in black and white
The good and the bad, the wrong or right
And it always seems to find someone else to blame
Got a finger to point, just itchin’ for the pain

With no self-responsibility
It’s a silent partner that we can’t see
Lies in wait to commit it’s crime
It’s not you that’s crossing that line

It’s your pain body
I know you’re talking with your pain body
And every now and then it’s somebody else that slips into our shoes
Don’t let ’em go and get to you

Don’t let ’em go and get to you
As much as they might want you to
Don’t let ’em go and get to you
Cause everybody’s packing a

Pain body
I know you’re talking with your pain body
And every now and then it’s somebody else that slips into our shoes
Ahh, but don’t you go and give into your

Pain body
I know you’re talking with your pain body
And every now and then it’s somebody else that slips into our shoes
Ahh, don’t let ’em go and get to you
You’re just talkin’ with your pain body

11. Gratitude
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

You slam your finger in the door
But does it hurt now anymore
Than your broken heart
When she said she didn’t love you anymore

I bet a bee sting probably hurts
But I know a snake bite’s ten times worse
And if one bit you, hey
I bet you’d know the difference right away

So be thankful for
It’s just a nick
and not much more
Cause nothin’ is anything until
You hold it up to something else

I know the traffic’s just a bore
But it beats walkin’ that’s for sure
When it’s ten below and you’re wavin’ down
Some stranger you don’t know

So get some perspective here
What seems so severe
Depends on what you compare it to
Let’s have a little gratitude

And just be thankful for
You got a motor
And four doors
Cause nothin’ is anything until
You hold it up to something else

Don’t sweat a bad hair day
Cause after all, you could be bald
A paper cut on your tongue’s
No reason to call 911

So just be thankful for
You got a shot
At one day more
Cause nothin’ is anything until
You hold it up to something else
Woah…oh…
You hold it up to something else
Woah…oh…
Be glad that it isn’t something else

12. Run Blindly and Stupidly to Love
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

Run blindly and stupidly to love
Don’t think you can ever have enough
Cause short are the days
Don’t block it out. Don’t hesitate
Run blindly and stupidly to love

Go wildly and free into the night
Don’t worry cause it’ll be alright
There’s nothing to fear
It’s the reason we are here
Run blindly and stupidly to love

Just give in and move towards the light
And let it heal the dark inside
It’s warm and it’s kind
There’s nothing like it you will find
So run blindly and stupidly to love
Run blindly and stupidly to love

Don’t wait now
For the moment
Or a reason
To show it
Don’t you know you that
The time is now

And it’s never
Ever too late
To move past
The barricades
It’s up to us to tear ’em down
Tear ’em down

Run blindly and stupidly to love
Don’t think you can ever give enough
Cause short are the days
Don’t hold it in. No don’t you wait
Run blindly and stupidly to love
Yea

Run blindly and stupidly to love
Don’t foolishly give your chances up
If you find it somewhere
Be sure to show how much you care
Run blindly and stupidly to love

Run blindly and stupidly to love
Don’t think you can ever have enough
Run blindly and stupidly to love

13. Won’t Stop Tryin’
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

There’s somethin’ inside of me
That can’t leave well enough alone
There’s always another mountain to climb
To climb, to climb, to climb

It follows me in my sleep
This hunger to stay in motion
And get to the place I need
To find, to find, to find, to find
In time, in time, in time

I won’t stop trying
No matter what’s in my way
I won’t stop tryin’
Each and every day
I won’t stop tryin’

Even if it means
Livin’ or dyin’
The fires of hell
I won’t stop tryin’

It’s more than just wanderlust
It’s more like some validation
Something that that says I lived
Alive, alive, alive, alive

And after my dust is gone
And all of my ashes find the wind
They’re still be my spirit in
The night, the night, the night, the night
Still tryin’, and tryin’ and tryin’

Cause, I won’t stop trying
No matter what’s in my way
I won’t stop tryin’
Each and every day
I won’t stop tryin’

Even if it means
Livin’ or dyin’
The fires of hell
I won’t stop tryin’

I guess it’s how we were made
I can’t excuse it away
We try our best to be satisfied
We just can’t settle for less
Than being our very best
Anything else would be a lie

I won’t stop tryin’
No matter what’s in my way
I won’t stop tryin’
Each and every day

I won’t stop tryin’
No matter what’s in my way
I won’t stop tryin’
Tryin’ every day

Oh even if it means
Livin’ or dyin’
The fires of hell
I won’t stop tryin’

I won’t stop trying’
Never, never, never
Never, never, never no

14. You Got The Power
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

You got the power
All the love inside
Oh and don’t you know
Everything’s gonna be alright

You got the power
Yea to override
Any negativity that blocks your light

You got the power
Of a hopeful heart
And you make your happiness
Right where you are

You got the power
Woah…of an open soul
And you let life teach you things
You need to know

Woah…
At times you may be doubtin’ it
Woah…
On a dark and heavy day
Woah…
But the sun is comin’ out and it’s
Shouting it out loud to you
Can’t you feel it comin’ through?

You got the power
And the love inside
And you’re free just like the ocean bird that flies

You got the power, yeah…
To visualize
Anything you want to be here in this life

Woah…
Sometimes you may be doubtin’ it
Woah…
On a dark and heavy day
Woah…
But the sun is comin’ out and it’s
Tellin’ you to you to let it flow
And share the love with all you know

You got the power, uh oh
And the love inside
The love inside
Oh and don’t you know
Everything’s gonna is be alright
Alright, alright!

Woah…you got the power
Yea to override
All the petty little things
That block your light
La-ey, la-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ight!

Woah…
At times you may be doubtin’ it
Woah…
On a dark and heavy day
Woah…
Don’t mind how big the mountain is
Woah…
You climb it every day!
Woah….
At times you may be doubtin’ it
Woah…
On a dark and heavy day
Woah…
But the sun is comin’ out and it’s
Shouting it out loud to you
Can’t you feel it?
Yes you do!

You got the power
And the love inside
The love inside
And you’re free just like the ocean bird that flies
Fli-ies, fli-ah-ah-ah-ies

You got the power
Yea…to visualize
Anything you want to be here in this life
Anything you want to be here in this life
You can be anything you want to be here in this life

1. Make Your Happiness
©Words and music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2014. All rights reserved

Turn off the TV
Open the curtains
Look out the window
Stop all this circlin’ round
What’s bringing you down?

Nobody’s gonna come try to find you
Kick down your door, give you a prize
Fix all your troubles, try to pull you out

‘Cause that ain’t the way this two-ring circus works
You gotta give to get, to get what’s waitin’ round the curve

You won’t find it in some lover’s eyes
or some shiny pretty thing you buy
You can run but you won’t
find it nowhere else

See the one thing happy people know
is it’s what you earn, not what you’re owed
And in-between the heartbreaks and the scars
You gotta make your happiness right where you are
Na na na na….na na na na…na na na
Na…na na na na….na na na
Na…na na na na….na na na na…..na na na
Na…na na na na….na na na

Reach out a hand. Lend it to someone
Don’t matter who, just be the one who cares
You’ll find a little happy there

Send out a smile, it’s ok
‘Cause it transcends all the fear and hate
And you’ll see, you’re a little more than half-way there

And the sooner from your easy chair you realize
The thing we’ve all been looking for has always been inside

You won’t find it some lover’s eyes
or some shiny pretty thing you buy
You can run but you won’t
find it nowhere else

See the one thing happy people know
is it’s what you earn, not what you’re owed
And in-between the heartbreaks and the scars

You gotta make your happiness right where you are
Na na na na….na na na na…na na na
Na…na na na na….na na na Oh….
Na…na na na na….na na na na…..na na na
Na…na na na na….na na na

And the journey of a thousand miles
Ends right when you realize

You won’t find it some lover’s eyes
or some shiny pretty thing you buy
You can run but you won’t
find it nowhere else

See the one thing happy people know
is it’s what you earn, not what you’re owed
And in-between the heartbreaks and the scars

You gotta make your happiness right where you are
Na…na na na na….na na na na…..na na na
Na…na na na na….na na na
Right where you are
Na na na na…. na na na na…..na na na
Na…na na na na….
Don’t you know? Don’t you know it ain’t that hard?
Na…na na na na…. na na na na…..na na na

2. The Resurrection of Me
©Words and music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2014. All rights reserved

Downtrodden, given up, forgotten
Found my way
All the way to the bottom
Lost everything
I thought that I could lose
No hopin’, give a damn, broken
Three-time loser with a subway token
Walkin’ like a dead man in my shoes

But I swear I’ll find a way, to turn it all around
Cause there’s nothin’ strong enough to keep my spirit down

Took a left, took a right
Sucker-punched by the fist of life, but I
Found on a way to get on my feet again
A little shaky, from the blows
But I’ll be damned if it takes my soul
Cause I’ve been down
But you’ll see
This is gonna be
The resurrection of me, yea, yea, yea
The resurrection of me, yea, yea, yea

Cold-jaded, street-hated
Called a punk and a bum, berated
Never thought I’d be the one to lose my way
But it’s alright, cause I know now
Got another chance to pick it up somehow
So brother won’t you hear me when I say?
I got a black-eyed soul but I still got a lotta heart
See it’s never too late, to find a new place to start

Took a left, took a right
Sucker-punched by the fist of life, but I
Found a way to get on my feet again
A little shaky, from the blows
But I’ll be damned if it takes my soul
Cause I’ve, been down
But you’ll see
This is gonna be
The resurrection of me, yea, yea, yea
Yea, yea, yea

And I know they’ll always will be ones who cast their doubts
But after all that I’ve been though
Nothin’s gonna hurt me now

Took a left, took a right
Sucker-punched by the fist of life, but I
Found a way to get on my feet again
A little shaky, from the blows
But I’ll be damned if it takes my soul
Cause I’ve been down
But you’ll see
This is gonna be
The resurrection of me, yea, yea, yea
The resurrection of me, yea, yea, yea

Took a left, took a right, yea..
The resurrection of me
This is gonna be
The resurrection of me….
This is gonna be
The resurrection of me, yea

3. Finding Out
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2014. All rights reserved

Every time you turn your head
I swear I have to catch my breath
I must confess I’m living for you now
Without you here my life would be
A wasted mediocrity
You found me in this broken world somehow
In a sky-high desert town

I’m finding out
There’s more to us than just a fleeting, wild emotion
You’ve taken hold and
I’m finding out
Your waves are crashin’ over me, just like an ocean
My soul’s been stolen
I’m finding out
Yes I’m finding out
You are that beautiful

I was fine, doin’ ok
All alone in Santa Fe
I really wasn’t lookin’ for no one

You walked in the room that night
And blinded me with laughter-light
I swear that I’d been staring at the sun
Can’t believe I’ve just begun

Finding out
There’s more to us than just a fleeting, wild emotion
You’ve taken hold and…
I’m finding out
Your waves are crashin’ over me, just like an ocean
My soul’s been stolen
I’m finding out
Yes I’m finding out
You are that beautiful

I’m finding out
There’s more to us than just a fleeting, wild emotion
You’ve taken hold and…
I’m finding out
Your waves are crashin’ over me, just like an ocean
My soul’s been stolen
I’m finding out
There’s more to us than just a fleeting, wild emotion
You’ve taken hold and…
I’m finding out
Your waves are crashing over me, just like an ocean
And my soul’s been stolen
I’m finding out
Yes I’m finding out
You are that beautiful
You really are that beautiful
How could someone be that beautiful to me?

4. Vibration
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

Pretty girl in New York
Cryin’ on the stairs
People pass her by
Like she isn’t there

Silent desperation
In the waves she sends
If she only knew
She could tune love in

Oh you got to…
Change your vibration
And become who you wanna be
Change your vibration
And the find the one’s that’s waiting underneath
Release
Love will set you free

Another frozen dinner, Mr. Friday night
Afraid to let anyone into his life
But, there’s a woman for him
In apartment C, oh and
If he’d let her she could raise his frequency, yea

Oh you got to
Change your vibration
And become who you wanna be
Change your vibration
And the find the one’s that’s waiting underneath
Release
Love will set you free

There’s a world unknowing
Who could heal thier pain
If they only knew
This simple thing
This simple thing
You got to

Change your vibration
And become who you wanna be, oh
Yea, change your vibration
And the find the one’s that’s waiting underneath
Oh you got to…

Change your vibration
And become who you wanna be
Change your vibration
And the find the one’s that’s waiting underneath
Release
Love will set you free

5. Shadow of Doubt
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2014. All rights reserved

Don’t think it’s over when over is only a ghost
Just open a window when you feel the doors have all closed, and just
Hold on
Another day’s comin’ along if you let it, so
Hold out
There’s a lining of silver that traces the shadow of doubt

Don’t say you can’t when you know damn-well-deep that you can, and…
Don’t turn away. Oh now don’t let the fear steal your chance, and just

Hold on
Another day’s comin’ along, if you let it, so
Hold out
There’s a lining of silver that traces the shadow of doubt

There’s another way
Always another road
So it’s steady on
And be good to yourself as you go

‘Cause there will be rain and the wind it may blow you off course
But don’t be denied of the destiny waiting that’s yours, and just

Hold on
Another day’s coming along, if you let it, so
Hold out
There’s a lining of silver that traces the shadow..
Hold on
Another day’s coming along, if you let it, so
Hold out
There’s a lining of silver that traces the shadow of doubt
There’s a lining of silver that traces the shadow of doubt

6. Place in this World Tonight
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2014. All rights reserved

All these faces on the downtown street
There’ll all lookin’ for someplace to be, but I
Tell you what, we’re gonna be alright, ’cause
We got a place in this world tonight

Some people try to run their future down, yea
Never livin’ in the here and the now, but I
Can’t say the same, about you and I, cause…
We got a place in this world tonight

Woah…
We gotta take the moment
Like we own it
Woah…
We’re all in this together
So you better make it last

Some people always lookin’ in their rear view, yea
Never knowin’ every day is new
Brother, sister, don’t you realize, that…
We got a place in this world tonight

Woah…
We gotta take the moment
Like we own it, yea
Woah…
We’re all in this together
So you better make it last

‘Cause it’s ashes to ashes, and it’s dust to dust, and
Before you know it, ‘yea your time is up, but I
Tell you one thing, we’re all doin’ just fine, cause…
We got a place in this world tonight
Whoa…
We got a place in this world tonight
Mmmmmm…
We got a place in this world tonight

7. Freedom Lies Within
©Words and music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

Everybody wants to run away
to some far-away paradise
To get outside their lives
But they don’t realize
That heaven’s not a place that lives in outer space
It’s closer than you might have known
And if you’ll just be still
And accept it all you will

Find everything you’re lookin’ for
Has been right here all this time
and this is what I know for sure
You won’t find it out there

Truth is that the peace lies underneath the skin
Let go…’cause freedom lies within

Forget about the money
Runnin’ after somethin’
Someone on a different path
‘Cause things you cannot change
Will only bring you pain

There’s a realization
In the meditation
The quiet of your mind
So take your happiness and
Breathe it in and live
And you will find
Everything you’re lookin’ for
Was right there all the time
and this is what I know for sure
You won’t find it out there

Truth is that the peace lies underneath the skin
Let go…’cause freedom lies within
And you will find
Everything you’re lookin’ for
Has been right there all this time
and this is what I know for sure
You won’t find it out there

Truth is that the peace lies underneath the skin
Let go…’cause freedom lies within
Freedom lies within
Freedom lies within
Freedom lies within

8. When You’re Gone
©Words and music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2014. All rights reserved

Sometimes it’s hard to see
When you’re caught up in the middle of a never-ending highway stream
And the last thing you’re thinkin’ about is how you’re remembered
or what you’ll leave
for a legacy

It’s a sober thought
Someday your gonna have to go and part with all the stuff you bought
And you’ll be lyin’ in the ground underneath the blue forget-me-nots
Like some afterthought

So, what do you want ’em to say about you when you’re gone?
That you shined a light so bright that it helped everyone along
That you did best to change this world
And ‘ya rode it like some tilt-a-whirl
When it’s time to put the chisel to the stone
What do you want ’em to say about you when you’re gone?

That you knew how to live
And through the pain and the shame you somehow learned how to forgive
And you loved with all your heart and gave it all you had to give
Yea, that’s what you did

That you laughed a lot
And even when you didn’t feel like it, you were someone else’s rock
And that you shared everything you had, even when you had not
Hey, no one here forgot

So what do you want ’em to say about you when you’re gone?
That you shined your light so bright that it helped everyone along
That you did best to change this world
And ‘ya rode it like some tilt-a-whirl
When it’s time to put that chisel to the stone
What do you want ’em to say about you when you’re gone?

Oh, you still you got a whole livin’
The road up ahead winds like a ribbon
So take the best of what you’ve been given
And spread it around…

So, what do you want ’em to say about you when you’re gone?
That you shined a light so bright that it helped everyone along
That you did best to change this world
and ya’ rode it like some tilt-a-whirl
When it’s time to put the chisel to the stone
What do you want ’em to say about you when you’re gone?

Yea, when you’re gone
What do you want ’em to say when you’re gone?
About you when you’re gone?

9. Do It Now
©Words and music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2014. All rights reserved

Let’s not wait until tomorrow
To manifest our waiting dreams
‘Cause these are gifts that we’ve been given
That are waiting to take wing
When the smoke of doubt surrounds you
Know it’s not where you belong
Just burn through it like an arrow
Let’s not wait until tomorrow

Do it Now
Ohhh…
Do it Now
Ohhh…

We all lose sometimes
But there are lessons in the losing
That are ours to find

And the lesser than
It’s the fog that creeps in deeming us the lesser man

But if you look beyond the human ego dance
And the present circumstance
You’ll see the future’s in our hands

Let’s not wait until tomorrow
To manifest our waiting dreams
‘Cause these are gifts that we’ve been given
That are waiting to take wing
When the smoke of doubt surrounds you
Know it’s not where you belong
Just burn through it like arrow
Let’s not wait until tomorrow

Do it Now
Ohhh…
Oh, do it now
Ohhh…

Am I good enough?
What will the others think if I should rise above?
What’s been holding me
back from all I know that I am really meant to be?

An the fear of finding I’m not who I am
Falls away when
we step up and take the chance

So, let’s not wait until tomorrow
To manifest our waiting dreams
‘Cause these are gifts that we’ve been given
That are waiting to take wing
And when the smoke of doubt surrounds you
Know it’s not where you belong
Just burn through it like an arrow
Let’s not wait until tomorrow

Do it Now
Ohhh…
Do it Now
Ohhh…

When it’s right in front of you
It’s somethin’ that you gotta to
Be the truth inside of you

Let’s not wait until tomorrow
To manifest our waiting dreams
‘Cause these are gifts that we’ve been given
That are waiting to take wing
And when the smoke of doubt surrounds you
Well it’s not where you belong
Just burn through it like an arrow
Let’s not wait until tomorrow

Do it Now
Whoooaaaah
Ohhh…
Do it Now
Ohhh…
Oh, you got to…Do it now
Whoooaaaah
Do it now
Ohhh…

10. Home is Where The Heart Is
©Words and Music by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill, 2013. All rights reserved

Here we are, obviously
In the place we always were supposed to be
I never thought, I’d ever find
The feeling that I’m feelin’ now
The one where you laugh out loud
It started out
So gingerly
Friends on a Sunday afternoon
Havin’ tea

You were done with him
and I was done with her
And when you looked at me
And it was more than plain to see that

Home is where your heart is
Oh hell I should have known this
By the way your dreams weaved in and out of mine
All the years I see
You’ve been savin’ yours for me
Home where your heart is so I find
We should’ve been together all this time
Time
Time
Time
Time

Sometimes it takes
A consequence
To override your overbearing common sense
And now it comes
As sweet surprise
To find we both were wrong
That it was right here all along, I tell ya now

Home is where your heart is
Oh hell I should have known this
By the way your dreams weaved in and out of mine
All the years I see
You’ve been saving yours for me
Home where your heart is so I find
We should’ve been together all this time
Time
Time
Time
Time

We scan the horizon
Just hopin’ to buy in
To any love-like thing
we can embrace

And isn’t it something
When you don’t see it comin’
And it’s plain as the smile on your face

Home is where your heart is
Hell I should have known this
By the way your dreams weaved in and out of mine
All the years I see
You’ve been savin’ yours for me
Home where your heart is so I find
We should’ve been together oh and…

Home is where your heart is
Oh hell I should have known this
By the way our lives drew parallel lines
All the years I see
You’ve been saving yours for me
Home where your heart is so I find
We should’ve been together all this time
Time
Time
All this, time
Time

1. A Book About Love
©Words and music by Chris Chickering (Chris Chickering Music, BMI) and Greg Barnhill (Gatorized Music, SESAC). 2014. All rights reserved.

If I could write a book about life
It wouldn’t be so black and white
I’d pull from all the research
I’d been through
Ooo-oooh-oooh, yea

If I could write a book about us
And how to deal with all of our stuff
It wouldn’t really be that hard to do

‘Cause once you’re hip to all the things that can befall you
And you listen to the inner voice that calls you
That is when you start to see
Just how good your life can be
I guess what I would say to sum it up is
I’d write a book about love
Love, love, love, love
I’d write a book about love
Love, love, love, love

If I could write a book about peace
I would say you gotta release
All the ways you think you’re right and they’re wrong
Ooo-oooh-oooh, yea

If I could write a book about hope
I’d say the key is in lettin’ go
Of all the dark assumptions you count on

‘Cause once you’re hip to all the things that can befall you
And you listen to the inner voice that calls you
This is when you start to see
Just how good your life can be
It’s the one thing that was meant for healing us, yea
I’d write a book about love
Love, love, love, love

Why live of life of less
when your higher consciousness
is waiting there for you to find?

Once you’re hip to all the things that can befall you
And you listen to the inner voice that calls you
This is when you start to see
Just how good your life can be

I guess what I’m tryin’ to say to sum it up, is
I’d write a book about love
Love, love, love, love

I’d write a book about love
Love, love, love, love
I’d write a book about love
Love, love, love, love
I’d write a book about love
Love, love, love, love

2. The Better Side
©Words and music by Chris Chickering (Chris Chickering Music, BMI) and Greg Barnhill (Gatorized Music, SESAC). 2012. All rights reserved.

This world
Is battered and broken
The wounds are still open
And it’s fighting to breath

And all that
I can do is offer
A hand for a need
And the better side of me

And I have
Looked all around me
And I’ve seen the pain
And the faith on its knees

But I know
That I’m just one soul here
But I’m gonna lead
With the better side of me

‘Cause every single one of us matters
Redemption is the door that’s never closed
And even the least of our light scatters
Yea, even a little bit can make a difference

Yea this world
Is battered and broken
The wounds are still open
And it’s fighting to breath

Oh and I know
I’m just one in a million
But I’m gonna lead
With the better side of me

‘Cause every single one of us matters
Redemption is the door that’s never closed
And even the least of our light scatters
Yea, even a little bit can make a difference

Oh and I know
I’m just one in a million
But I’m gonna lead
With the better side of me

And all that
I can do is offer
A hand for a need
And the better side of me

All I can do is offer
The better side of me

3. Coppermine

I’m in a coppermine
Where the only light’s your love I left behind
I’m in a coppermine
And I don’t know if I’m comin’ back this time

And I’m miles under underground
And everything is fallin’ down
And I’m past the point of rescue
‘Cause the oxygen was you

I’m in a coppermine
It’s what you get
When you look for things that shine…shine
I’m in a copper mine
And I don’t know if I’m comin’ back this time

You think you’ll hit the mother-load
Lookin’ for some foolish gold
Then you find you just can’t breathe
Another victim of believe

I’m in a coppermine
Where the only light’s your love I left behind
Yea, left behind
Yea…

And I’m miles underground
And everything is fallin’ down
And I’m past the point of rescue
‘Cause the oxygen was you

I’m in a coppermine
Where the only light’s your love I left behind
oh yea yea
I’m in a coppermine
And I don’t know if I’m comin’ back this time

I’m in a coppermine
It’s what you get
When you look for things that shine…shine
I’m in a coppermine
And I don’t know if I’m comin’ back this time
Comin’ back this time
Comin’ up this time
Comin’ back this time

4. Time
©Words and music by Chris Chickering (Chris Chickering Music, BMI) and Greg Barnhill (Gatorized Music, SESAC). 2013. All rights reserved.

You are only one
and I am only one
But together we can change the world
that’s yet to come

Sometimes I feel so small
Like I don’t count at all
And I know that you feel it too
But it’s all up to me and you to change

‘Cause the clock is always runnin’ day to day
But we gotta do somethin’ ‘cause it’s…

Time…Time…
Time to find
Another way, hey
Days go by
And in the blink of an eye
They’ll be gone
Like summer-wine
Don’t you think it’s time?
Ohhh….

It’s only talk for some
‘Cause it’s harder said than done
To get outside our comfort
And give of ourselves

But every time we do
A little more hope shines through
And the future looks much brighter than
What the newsman on the TV
Has to say

‘Cause whenever there’s a reason
There’s a way
But we gotta start today
‘Cause it’s

Time…Time…
Time to find…
Another way, hey
Days go by
And in the blink of an eye
They’ll be gone
Like summer-wine
Don’t you think it’s
Time…Ohhh….

Time for tomorrow
Time for tomorrow, today
Time for a new love
Time to give it away

Time for peace now
Time to start talkin’ again
Like we did then

It’s time…Time
Time to find
Another way, hey
Days go by
And in the blink of an eye
They’ll be gone
Like summer-wine

Time…Time
Time to find
Another way, hey
Days go by
And in the blink of an eye
They’ll be gone
Like summer wine
Don’t you think it’s time?
Woah…
Don’t you think it’s time?

5. No Expectations
©Words and music by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards (Abkco Music Inc.). All rights reserved.

Take me to the station
And put me on a train
I’ve got no expectations
To pass through here again

Once I was a rich man
But now I am so poor
But never in my sweet short life
Have I felt like this before

Your heart is like a diamond
You throw your pearls at swine
And as I watch you leavin’ me
You pack my peace of mind

Our love was like a water
That splashes on a stone
Our love is like our music
It’s here and then it’s gone

So take me to the airport
And put me on a plane
I got no expectations
To pass through here again

I’ve got no expectations
I’ve got no expectations
To pass through here again
To pass through here again

Every time I smile
I let go of a little more pain
And every time I laugh
I get rid of a little more shame

These days I’ve figure out that
I’m the one to turn this thing around
And every time I do

Yea, a little more heaven falls down
Down, down, downtown and all around
Yea, a little more heaven falls down
Down, down
It’s gettin’ better now

And every time I dream
Oh I dream about feelin’ like this
And nothin’ weighs on me
No matter how heavy it is

‘Cause these days I’m realizin’
There’s a happiness beyond my doubts
And when the stars shake loose

Yea, a little more heaven falls down
Down, down, downtown and all around
Yea, a little more heaven falls down
Down, down
It’s gettin’ better now

All we need is inside of us
The answer is love, me and you, woah
We can live how we wanna live
All we need is the truth

Every step I take
I know it’s gettin’ me there
It’s not too far away
I can feel it in the air

These days I’ve figure out that
I’m the one to turn this thing around
And every time I do

Yea, a little more heaven falls down
Down, down, downtown and all around
Yea, a little more heaven falls down
Down, down
It’s gettin’ better now

A little more heaven falls down
Down, down, downtown and all around
And a little more heaven falls down
Down, down
It’s gettin’ better now
It’s all gettin’ better now

2. A Prayer for Who We Really Are
A Prayer For Who We Really Are
©Words and music by Chris Chickering (BMI) and Greg Barnhill (SESAC).

This is a prayer for the love within us
This is a prayer to release our hearts
This is a prayer that we carry with us
This is a prayer for who we really are

We are light
We are sunshine
We are what we believe
We are hope
We are promise
Of everything that’s yet to be

We are bliss
We are laughter
We are flowers in the spring
We are life
Ever-flowing
And these are the words that we will sing

This is a prayer for the love within us
This is a prayer to release our hearts
This is a prayer that we carry with us
This is a prayer for who we really are

We are strong
We are fearless
We find the comfort in our souls
We are real
We are open
To the destiny that’s ours to hold

This is a prayer for the love within us
This is a prayer to release our hearts
This is a prayer that we carry with us
This is a prayer for who we really are

We are here
We are present
In every moment that we breathe
We are peace
We are freedom and
This is a psalm for you and me, yea

This is a prayer for the love within us
This is a prayer to release our hearts
This is a prayer that we carry with us
This is a prayer for who we really

This is a prayer for the love within us
This is a prayer to release our hearts
This is a prayer that we carry with us
This is a prayer for who we really are
Who we really are
Who we really are

Love is all
All is love
Never put it down, oh no
Never give it up
Love is all, oh yea
All is love
So love with all your heart, oh and
Never love enough
Love is all
All is love

If there’s one thing
That I know
We hold the power in us
To heal our souls

And it’s all around, yea
Day and night
And it’s been waitin’ for ya
To step into the light yea

Love is all, oh yea
All is love
Never put it down, oh no
Never give it up
Love is all, oh yea
All is love
So love with all your heart, oh and
Never love enough
Love is all
All is love

Open your spirit
You know it ain’t that hard
to make a heart-connection
Right where we are
‘Cause we were made to be this
We are one
And this current in between us
Open up and let it run, yea

Love is all, oh yea
All is love
Never put it down, oh no
Never give it up
Love is all, oh yea
All is love
So love with all your heart, oh and
Never love enough
Love is all

Love is all
All is love
Never put it down, oh no
Never give it up
Love is all, I say
All is love
So love with all your heart, oh and
Never, never give it up, oh yea

4. Be The Change
©Words and music by Chris Chickering (BMI) and Greg Barnhill (SESAC).
2015. All rights reserved.

Be the change you wish to see
In this world
‘Cause one and one will make eleven
We can make a heaven, yea

Be the spark that starts the flame
Light the way
All it takes is you and me
To be the change you wish to see
Oh, oh…woah
Oh, oh…woah

Feels impossible sometimes
The world seems so cold
and there are so many dividing lines

Breaks the heart
and wounds the soul
Sometimes we lose the faith
Gotta keep on
tryin’ to find a better way

Don’t you give up
No matter the pain
Oh, don’t you give up
Keep pushin’ right through the rain

Be the change you wish to see
In this world
‘Cause one and one will make eleven
We can make a heaven, yea

Be the spark that starts the flame
Light the way
All it takes is you and me
to be the change you wish to see
Oh, oh…woah
Oh, oh…woah

People say peace can’t be found
Just sit back and let the world go ’round
But that’s no way to make ourselves a better future
If everybody did just a little bit more
We’d be better off for sure
On our way to blue-sky days and hallelujahs

Don’t you give up
Keep stoking the faith
No, don’t you give up
‘Cause we’re makin’ a brand new day

Be the change you wish to see
In this world
‘Cause one and one will make eleven
We can make a heaven, yea

Be the spark that starts the flame
Light the way
All it takes is you and me
To be the change you wish to see
Oh, oh…woah
Oh, oh…woah

I know it seems like somethin’
Impossible to do
But all it takes now is to
lean into the groove

Be the change you wish to see
In this world
‘Cause one and one will make eleven
We can make a heaven, yea

Be the spark that starts the flame
Light the way
All it takes is you and me
To be the change, yea baby

Be the change you wish to see
In this world
‘Cause one and one will make eleven
We can make a heaven, yea

Be the spark that starts the flame
Light the way
All it takes is you and me
To be the change you wish to see
Oh, oh…woah
Oh, oh…woah

So you’re lookin’ for somethin’
Somethin’ on the outside
You think is gonna fill you up

A new job in the city
A big pile of money
But it’s never quite enough

You don’t have to look far
To see how good things really are
You’ve already arrived
So get over your starry wonder

Your peace my friend
Is found within
‘Cause every little thing’s…
already alright

All you desire
Is here inside
‘Cause every little thing’s…
already alright
yea, yea

So you been on the road now
For a lot a your life now
Tryin’ to find what makes you whole

And you still haven’t found it
But you’re all around it
And when do you
that’s when you’ll know

You don’t have to look at far
To see how good things really are
You’ve already arrived
So get over your starry wonder

Your peace my friend
Is found within
‘Cause every little thing’s…
Already alright

All you desire
Is here inside
‘Cause every little thing’s
Already alright

It’s all good
You’re exactly where you need to be now
It’s all good
It’s all already figured out

Your peace my friend
Is found within
‘Cause every little thing’s…
already alright

All you desire
Is here inside
Yea every little thing’s…
already alright

Your peace my friend
Is found within
‘Cause every little thing’s…
already alright

All you desire
Is here inside
Woah, woah
Woah, woah

I feel regeneration
I feel a change is movin’ in

People are wakin’ up
to possibilities again

An age of realization
of choosing love instead of fear

Here in the dawning light
It’s such a good time to be here

Hey shambala
Can’t you feel it all around?
Hey shambala
It’s time to come together now
Together now

I feel regeneration
I feel a warming of the heart

The walls are fallin’ down
The ones that kept us far apart

A newfound consciousness
Is on its way to us at last

The future’s yet to come
And the past is just the past

Hey shambala
Can’t you feel it all around?
Hey shambala
It’s time to come together now
Together now

Ah, ah, ah, ah

A time of reinvention
A time of right here now
A time of one vibration
A time of finding out

Hey shambala
Can’t you feel it all around?
Hey shambala
It’s time to come together now, yea

Hey shambala
Can’t you feel it all around?
Hey shambala
It’s time to come together now

Hey shambala
Can’t you feel it all around?
Hey shambala
It’s time to come together now, oh..

Hey shambala
Can’t you feel it all around?
Hey shambala
It’s time to come together now
Together now
Together now

Look at you
How ya light up when you smile
How you mesmerize the room
When you’re walkin’ through and

Got you down
But that ain’t where meant stay
Tomorrow’s on your side
So look inside
The sun is shining

And free your mind
and let your spirit wander
And sail right through the heavy clouds
that you’ve been under

You belong
Out where the laughter lives
So fall into your happiness
‘Cause you were meant for nothin’ less than this

You summer child
Innocence lives in your soul
And sometimes you pay the price
For the not so nice, just

Be yourself ’cause
Better things are on the way
And you can trust the fact
The universe has got your back

So free your mind
and let your spirit wander
And sail right through the heavy clouds
that you’ve been under

You belong out
where the laughter lives
So fall into your happiness
‘Cause you were meant for nothin’ less than this

Hey, wontcha think about it?
Just dream your dreams out loud and
Live your life
‘Cause it’s your time

Oh and free your mind
and let your spirit wander
And sail right through the heavy clouds
that you’ve been under

You belong out
where the laughter lives
So fall into your happiness
‘Cause you were meant for nothin’ less than this
Nothing less than this
Yea…
Nothing less than this
Yea
Ahh, nothing less than this

How Deep I Can Love
©Words and music by Chris Chickering (Chris Chickering Music,

How was I
Supposed to know?
I should’ve known
You were right
When you said
I wasn’t ready for the show

I passed your house
Tonight as I was drivin’ home
You don’t know
How much it kills me
to go back to alone

But the one thing I take from this
That I pulled from the emptiness
Is even though you’re still on my mind
You taught me somethin’ so fine
You opened a part of me
as vast as the swirling sea
and I just want to thank you
for showin’ me
How deep I can love…
Love…

For a while
You know I thought you were the one
I guess you were babe
‘Cause I’m still burnin’ like the sun

There’s a reason
Some people travel through our lives
If it’s only just to shake the heart awake
and make it come alive

And the one thing I take from this
That I pulled from your empty kiss
Is even though you’re still on my mind
It wasn’t all wasted time
‘Cause you opened a part of me
as vast as the swirling sea
And I just want to thank you
for showin’ me
How deep I can love…
Love…
Love…
Love…

And the one thing I take from this
That I pulled from the cold abyss
Is even though you’re still on my mind
You taught me somethin’ so fine
You opened a part of me
As vast as the swirling sea
Oh and I just want to thank you
Yea I just want to thank you
for showin’ me
How deep I can love…
Love…
How deep I can love…
Love…

9. It All Gets Better
©Words and music by Chris Chickering (BMI) and Greg Barnhill (SESAC).
2015. All rights reserved.

I see this girl, she comes in the store every now and then
It’s like the darkness is her only friend
Like she’s been holdin’ on to where’s she’s been
For too long, too long, yea

She wears a smile like a black and white photograph
Nah, you ain’t gonna make her laugh
No matter what you say
‘Cause thinks the world
Made her that way

Sometimes I want to tell her “hey girl, just lighten up”
You ain’t the only one whose had it rough
But she wouldn’t take kindly to that kinda stuff
So I just carry her bags out to her car

And it only adds to the baggage she’s already got
But if she’d just realize there’s still a lot
Left to live
Forget, forgive

And it all gets better
When you want it to
It’s up to you
Yea it all gets better
When you want it to

And there’s this guy who runs the morning parking lot
Man he sure seems pissed off a lot
I make a joke, I’m like
Hey did you save me a spot?
And I laugh, but he won’t

He just shakes his head, and snarls as he waves me through
Takes a swig from his brown-paper 90 proof
Gets him through the day
And it keeps the pain
A little further away

You wonder what makes happy want to go and jump the tracks
And leave us all feelin’ like it ain’t comin’ back
Like we’re comatose
Like we’re stuck in a nightmare
With a long night to go

But if you open up your eyes you can see the light
Shinin’ from the shores of a better life
If you wanna live
Consider this
Forget, forgive

And it all gets better
When you want it to
It’s up to you
Yea it all gets better
When you want it to

And it all gets better
When you want it to
It’s up to you
Yea it all gets better
When you want it to
When you want it to
Yea when you want it to
Mmm…

Fear and faith
are created by the same energy, yea
It’s up to us to choose

Fear’ll hold you down
But faith’ll let ya fly
That’s when you find the wings of truth

Just put down all your limits
All of your reasons
for not livin’
‘Cause life is just waitin’, waitin’, waitin’
For you to begin

This is the time to start bein’
Everything you’ve been dreamin’
‘Cause life is just waitin’, waitin’, waitin’
to take you my friend
and give you the wind

You and I
Aren’t much different from the other one, no
One will doubt and one believes
Oh and I know how it feels
When the fear you got
Locks you up
But you’ve got the keys
to set your soul free

Just put down all your limits
All of your reasons
for not livin’
‘Cause life is just waitin’, waitin’, waitin’
For you to begin

This is the time to start bein’
Everything you’ve been dreamin’
‘Cause life is just waitin’, waitin’, waitin’
to take you my friend
and give you the wind

We were born divine
To live beyond the lines

Just put down all your limits
All of your reasons
for not livin’
‘Cause life is just waitin’, waitin’, waitin’
For you to begin

This is the time to start bein’
Everything you’ve been dreamin’
‘Cause life is just waitin’, waitin’, waitin’
to take you my friend
and give you the wind
Gonna give you the wind

11. Forgive Me (The River)
©Words and music by Chris Chickering (BMI) and Greg Barnhill (SESAC).
2014. All rights reserved.

I came here to forgive myself
For the judgment I have held
It’s time to let go
I’ve carried this stone too long
It’s time for moving on

Let the river
Let the river wash it clean
And from here on let it be
It’s really over now

Let the sunlight
Let the sunlight warm my skin
Let it make me whole again
‘Cause I’m ready
To forgive me
Ahh…

I’ve lived in the past too long
So tired of the sorrow song
So I’m here
To give it up to the sky
And start on another life

Let the river
Let the river wash it clean
And from here on let it be
It’s really over now

Let the sunlight
Let the sunlight warm my skin
Let it make me whole again
‘Cause I’m ready
To forgive me

We can only run so far
With our cold regrets and scars
Hide the lights we really are
But I’m too tired to fight that war
Anymore

Let the river
Let the river wash it clean
And from here on let it be
It’s really over now

Let the sunlight
Let the sunlight warm my skin
Let it make me whole again
‘Cause I’m ready
To forgive me
Said I’m ready
To forgive me

12. The Essence of Life
©Words and music by Chris Chickering (BMI) and Greg Barnhill (SESAC).

You gotta love the pain
Love the struggle
‘Cause this is the essence of life

You gotta love the fear
Love the trouble
‘Cause it’s all a part of the ride

You gotta face the mirror
Face the music
And take every day as it comes

And when you stop fakin’ it
That’s when you start makin’ it

Every day gets a little bit brighter, oh
Every load gets a little bit lighter, oh
When you come to terms and reconcile
That it’s gonna go wrong
then it’s gonna go right sometimes
That’s where you’ll find
Yea, the essence of life

You gotta love the falls
Love the failures
‘Cause that’s how you know you’re alive

You gotta love the tears
Love the heartaches
‘Cause they make you stronger inside

You gotta welcome strange
And crazy days
‘Cause change is the only sure thing

And once you accept the fact
Is when you start finding that

Every day gets a little bit brighter, oh
Every load gets a little bit lighter, oh
When you come to terms and reconcile
That it’s gonna go wrong
then it’s gonna go right sometimes
That’s where you’ll find
The essence of life

Every day gets a little bit brighter, oh
Every load gets a little bit lighter

Every day gets a little bit brighter, oh
Every load gets a little bit lighter, oh
When you come to terms and reconcile
That it’s gonna go wrong
then it’s gonna go right sometimes
That’s where you’ll find
The essence of life
Yea the essence of life
The essence of life…
